StyleNique Presents: Being a Mother, The Hardest Job I've Ever Had
Can I share something personal with you? It's about the hardest job I've ever had. At a young age, I knew that I'd get married and have children. Each time I babysat my cousins, I made food for my siblings and, completed homework assignments with my nephew; I thought to myself "this is great practice for when I have children of my own". The truth is, it was good practice but it was not enough to prepare me, not in the slightest way.
You see, nothing can really prepare you for motherhood other than going through it with your own children. The physical and emotional, responsibility that comes with it is an experience that can only be gained through its endurance. I can tell you that it's not a walk in the park, but I can also tell you that it's a blessing to have children and a privilege to be a mother.
Being a mother is the hardest job I've ever had and having children has been the greatest joy I've ever experienced. God bless all mothers.
